For £7.00 or less we offer the only Canterbury tour to guide you through the historic streets and the Cathedral precincts!

The heart of Canterbury can only be explored on foot so why not join one of our official Green Badge guides for a 90 minute walk and learn about this fascinating world-famous city from Roman times to the present day?

The tour includes the Cathedral precincts, the historic King’s School, the Pilgrim inns dotted around the medieval lanes and tales of many famous historical characters, writers and artists who have lived here or visited in the past.

Guided city walking tours are conducted personally by our entertaining, informative guides who can respond to your questions and specific interests.

They commence every day at 11am throughout the year (except 25th December) and twice daily at 11am and 2pm from 1st April to 31st October.

Tours depart from the Buttermarket.

Tickets are available from Canterbury Visitor Centre at the Beaney in the High Street, the Roman Museum in Butchery Lane or online.
